| If someone can tell me where I might be able to pick up the bolts to hold the magnetic pick-up I would appreciate it. I am hoping someone can give me the name of a hardware chain as I don't have the time to get back to the kart shop. Mychron is sending me some but I am going to need some for this Sat. and don't know what the size is. All I know is that they are metric and very fine pitch which means I know NOTHING! Thanks for any help |

| Try going to a hobby shop. They should have the size hardware you are looking for. I would think it's probably either an 6-32 or 8-32. Get a washer to go under the bolt head to spread the load a little. |

I lost mine on one of my sensors and I couldn't find any nuts to fit it, metric or standard. They must be special so I ordered some for me and the shelf a while back.

Mike, they are a special "nut" (I assume that's what you meant instead of "bolt") that comes only from Italy I think. Aimsports said that they can't be found anywhere here is the US and sent me some when I lost mine.
In the meantime, just get some safety wire and wire on either side of the bolt (wire around the threads of the bolts and tighten by twisting wire tight with safety pliers) instead of the nuts and then I just ran some small strips of duct tape in a figure 8 around the bolts where it went through it's holder. It worked fine for a whole race weekend and held me over until Aimsports got the proper nuts to me. |
