|
|
It's that time of the year, time for the 'spring training' for the upcoming season to begin with the first round of the Florida Winter Tour. With the success of the double race weekends in 2007, it returns again for '08 with the Rotax program set to run this weekend at the Homestead Karting facility in Southern Florida. With the popularity of the Rotax program in Florida, entries are expected to be high with the competition as tough as ever.
As per EKN's Winter Coverage, we have provided the discussion thread for the event. With the help of the FWT staff and the many competitors, they will be able to post updates throughout the weekend. We will have an overall preview of the event Friday along with results and race report following the weekend. _________________ David Cole

That is a stout DD2 field. It's going to be tough, even the slow guys will be 'super fast.' With a 95% confidence level, i'm pretty sure I can call it with:
1. Pierre Luc
2. Gary Carlton
3. Alex Speed
4. Scott Speed
5. Stuart Marsell
and if it doesn't go that way it will definantely finish like this:
1. Stuart Marsell
2. Scott Speed
3. Alex Speed
4. Gary Carlton
5. Pierre Luc
Oh hell, I don't know!! The racing should be righteous. |

I say Stuart then Brandon Marsell. It will be a tuff class for sure. Didn't those Speed kids use to race karts. I know there Dad was a good road racer. _________________ Shayne Shipley

Joker!! Ha, ha, ha
I like the Marsell brothers a lot, but in this case I am pretty sure, Pierre Luc will give Carlton, Speeds & Co. a run for their money. He is just too good in DD2, not so much in ICC(only in the rain).
Be cool

Results from first practice, heats, prefinals, and finals from today are on mylaps now.
Looking forward to hearing how the MOJO D2s are running? _________________ I spend my money on hunting, racing, women, and whiskey - the rest I waste. |
