Can someone point me in a direction that I can find out more information about the arrive and drive programs?

Some specific questions are price? Can anyone arrange to have an arrive and drive kart/motor? Is the equipment any good (or do you have to be "somebody")? Do they tune the kart and motor, or do we? (i.e. do we still need to bring tools, parts etc? Do they have provide parts if needed, ie chains, spark plugs etc? If there is any damage to the kart/motor during the course of racing, how is that handled? (i.e. is there insurance for them covered in the initial costs?)

We have all of our own stuff, but then the travel expense of pulling a trailer cross country, plus the time taken off from work, may make it worth it to try this option.

Do the different manufacturers have web sites where we can find their specific information?

Thanks,
Kathy

Kathy,

What series do you plan on running?

I think most of the top importer/dealers all have some sort of arrive and drive.

Franklin - Merlin, FirstKartUSA, Screaming Talent - Gillard, MRP - Birel, J3-Kosmic, Champion - Intrepid, PSL - CRG, Margay, Arrow all have some sort of arrive and drive for most of the national series.

Gary
