With the Euro strengthening against the dollar, how much more "surcharges" will the kart buying public stand? If it rises a few more percentages a top brand TaG/KF chassis could cost $4300. retail.
Will the karting manufacturers go to Asia to produce chassis and components like the Italian motorcycle/scooter builders have done? Will IAME setup a factory here? _________________ Chuck McCue

I don't understand why they haven't already.
BTW, has anyone noticed the Canadian dollar is now over 1:1? Amazing what can happen when you actually pump oil instead of going to war over it. |

We just got back from the Easykart International race held in Italy and we felt hard the US Vs. Euro exchange rate. It was terrible seeing how much everything cost there considering what we would have paid here in the U.S.
Hopefully some of the main manufactures will send some jigs over here and set up shop, for the prices to be reasonable. Without any corrective actions to be taken, I feel that we will see a lower number of imports until the prices drop.
