It's that time of the year, time to crown the five champions for the Snap-on Stars of Karting presented by IndyCar Series. The finale will take place this weekend at the Desert MINI of Las Vegas National Finals around a temporary circuit on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway grounds.

Today, we began our Trackside Live coverage with a preview of the Spec Racer, JICA, and Cadet championships along with entry list for the classes. Tomorrow will be the ICA preview with ICC coming Thursday. Friday will be notes from the practice day along with coverage of the Divisional Banquet held Friday night. Saturday will be covering the Qualifying and Heat races with Sunday running two finals for each class.

If you have any questions or comments, please post them here.

Does anyone have track layout info?
Let me guess, 2000 foot straight away and one slow corner?

What, no updates yet? Come on EKN Laughing Laughing Laughing

The EKN Trackside Live staff will have a substitute this weekend. Rob Howden will be arriving in Vegas soon to get settled in while former SKI Editor Tim Blaney will be replacing David Cole for this weekend. Blaney - will also be arriving later today, reuniting the SKI Team from years ago.

I'll be tuning in throughout the weekend along with assisting the trackside duo while sitting at my desk back here at home.

Ooh boy,

Out in the desert again. Look for lots and lots of blown motors (and championship hopes)

Deserts are for Baja, not for karts with expensive italian motors!!!!
