New Castle, what an awesome facility. That is how a kart track should be built. Garages with roll up doors, suites above on one side, a pro shop and a reataurant. Very nice. All grass infield, elevation changes and it goes on forever.

Yes, I did attend. Got one of those itches and flew out to New Castle Saturday. I realy enjoyed meeting some of the people on e-karting. Greg wright, Dan Weldon, Kurt Burris, the Dismores, Scott Dixon and Gary Rovazzini. Just wish I could have participated , spectating was enjoyable non the less.

A special thanks to Gary Rovazzini for his hospitality. One of the many things about karting that is so enjoyable, nice people.

The vintage karts were very cool. C and B opens from a time when simplicity ruled. That is if you think dual 125 + cc engines with one or two carbs is simple. They were very entertaining to watch as they entered a corner then exiting and waiting until the front wheels were pointed VERY straight before getting on the gas until the next corner. Shoot and squirt.

Sorry to hear about Kyle's vintage kart. Stealing someone's kart is so wrong. Bad people realy do suck.

Looks like you guys had way too much fun. We were talking and for sure we will put together a team (maybe two) from Texas and come on out.

Let's see that is three more races on the calendar:

Streets of Indy
Rock Island
New Castle

Couple of funny photos:

Mark thinking "I'm so glad this is over!" or "Can anyone tell I'm wringing Billy's neck?"

Dan looks like "I know Marky, but I'm going to do the 'this may be a crazy fan' lean in for the photo just in case."

#99: "What number are you?" or Dan: "I can go four more laps on this fuel-I won't run out."

Was Kyles kart stolen on Saturday or Sunday.? If that is the same kart I saw and it sure looks like it, I saw it sitting behind a trailer Sunday afternoon. I must have walked past it 4 or 5 times that day. The last time I saw it must have been 3 or 4 O'clock sunday. Huh.........

I saw that same kart sitting on the sidewalk behind a trailer. It was there all day Sunday.
