As always, we have tons of people we'd like to thank for our continued success (you truely can't go at it alone).
  • OGP for the trackside support in Denver - Jorge, Kyle and Troy did an awesome job making sure we had all the bits we needed to finish the race.
  • Neil Enerson for the transport as well as tent services
  • Dave Davies and SSC East for the Rotax powerplant
  • All of our sponsors throughout the season, we couldn't compete without them
Most of all, all our friends at Tony Kart:
  • Tony Kart Florida & Andre Martins who have provided technical support since day one
  • Tony Kart USA has been key to making this season productive. We've been thankful to have experienced such a professional team, without them the results just wouldn't be there.
  • The Tony Kart EVX chassis - I know everyone says chassis aren't part of the speed equation, but Tony Kart is on a mission to prove "everyone" wrong. This chassis, in my opinion, is bar none the only choice for Junior racing in the US. 2 FWT Champions, 4 out of 5 Stars East Victories, 1st and 2nd Rotax US Grand National and the season isn't even over yet. This is quite simply the easiest chassis to make fast. You can't go wrong with any of the Tony Kart lines (OTK, FA, etc). If you haven't switched yet, find a dealer at http://www.tonykartflorida.com.
As a crew chief, I have a longer list of people to thank:
  • Of course, Mom and Dad. Nobody can replace the tireless work you both put in to make all of us sucessful.
  • Nate Grindell, one hell of a mechanic that shares the vision of the team and is never afraid to remind us to "bring the wood"
  • Jarvis, who keeps impressing by the minute. Truly a superstar.
  • The rest of the family, Gram and Gramps, and everyone else that had a hand in this. I simply can't name everyone, but there's a long list.

Rotax is a unique experience and our success at the Grand Nationals is always memorable. Cameron's run for third place will not be forgotten. He raced Jarvis clean the entire event, saving a spot on the stopwatch next year. It was great to see Zanella take the win on the FA Kart, after being fast all weekend. It will be even better to see him move up next year, but until then he will be an asset in Dubai for sure.

The essence of the program was summed up when I was talking to Tom from SSC East about the people here at the event. I was telling him about how we suffered from a spark plug malfunction on the grid before one of the practices. I said "You should've seen everyone run over. Everyone wanted to help and we even got a spark plug, it was awesome. In Stars you would've just sat there by yourself". He laughed and then corrected me, saying "No, they would've walked over and kicked your spark plug onto the track."

Thanks and see everyone next year!
