Twins are my dad's love. When my brother Glenn and I turned 16, we both started racing twins in sprint, dirt and enduro. There's nothing like a twin with B-Bomb 130s waiting to explode at over 100mph.

Here is the TonyKart ICA Twin that I originally did and then Joey Guyon of Overdrivekarts.com redid with new bodywork. The engines are Rotax VME ICA's with Baroni BF24 carbs blueprinted by Overdrive.

The handling was totally balanced and with a driver that was a mid pack club guy kept Alex Speed in an ICC behind him around Moran during some off season testing.......Let's just say it accelerates really well Shocked those VME Rotax engines out of the box with a good carb would turn 20+K rpm....They kept taking rear gear off of it and going faster but also trying to keep the revs to no more than 18,500rpm.

We played with firing order being direct drive. A 180 degree firing made the kart more difficult to start as you were always pushing against a compression stroke. Vibration felt awkward while driving. It also oversteered WAAAAAY more off of turns....On the plus side the sound firing 180 degrees was incredible!!!

Firing in tandem like our 250cc twin cylinder engine gave maximum off corner thrust, started just like a standard ICA, vibration was ICA normal, and handling was better everywhere.

It is now being prepped to be a piece of Artwork on the owners living room wall Sad

Thanks, M.Z. Smile

OK, Marc. Attach 2 of these AIXRO 50 Wankel motors (100 HP!!) on that chassis and go beat up some FE and ICE's.

Hey Steve that #5 Banzai is still one of my dads favorite karts ever. He still talks about that kart Laughing The pictures of him driving it around Long Beach are pretty cool too.

Those are awsome looking machines. I was wondering, are the frames built from scratch or are they single engine frames modified to accept the second engine on the left side Question
