I am STOKED about this weekend! Can't wait to get out there tomorrow! Is it a good, raceable track? Got passing zones? Anyone know how Jaskol is doing so far after how ever many practice sessions? Go Las Vegas residents. _________________ Git-R-Done! |

A track map would be nice, so we can kind of "visualize" the lap times
and the follow-up stories regarding passes and such. I bet it is going
to be really hot, although Vegas heat is not near as bad as southern
heat, but hot none the less.
Good luck to Ryan on the Intrepid in ICC

The layout is pretty cool but the surface is inconsistent as it crosses a few different sections of pavement in the lot. There's not a lot of rubber down yet and some parts are so bumpy it looks more like Dakar than karting. It's fast, the ICCs were in the mid 40s with about 4/10ths separating the top 5. There's a pretty long front straight that sweeps right then an almost 90 degree right, that will be a great place to pass, and watch. Down on the south end the last turn onto the front straight is a good place to watch as well. Most of the track is visable without getting a wristband, in fact from the paddock area the views are limited but pretty much the whole track is accessable without getting a pass . It's good that the "civilians" can see for free as many stopped to do just that.
