I agree in theory that the ICC should be faster than any moto, stock or PI, but that theory has yet to be proven. Quite a few people have brought them to National events with less than stellar results.
Remember, autocross is usually 3 to 5 runs and that's it. No time to try all kinds of different setups, gears, jets, axles, etc. No time to practice. So it's mostly driver. This tends to minimize differences in motors.
I'm sure that sooner or later an ICC will win some big event. Will that mean it's faster? It will take some time to tell, and the SEB doesn't like to change rules until things are abundantly clear. But you can certainly write them and express your opinion. If enough people write, things usually change faster. |
