The link works fine...
Anybody out there that can really define the differences between the # lines on the bullet cameras? Do I really need the 560 lines to get good video? What level really makes a difference. The Aiptek 5900 is only $100... |

| Does the aiptek mpvr have a input so I can use a bullet cam with it or are you guys just taping the entire recorder to your helmet? |

Which particular model is this? I'm very impressed by the quality.
I'd probably fabricate a mount so I could bolt the camera right over the front bumper. |

Andrew,
It has an AV inout and the related harnesses for recording and playback. The link above the mpvr we're using.
Andy, cool video, looks like a riot. What did you chose to put your videos on? I used Google Vidoe and the picture is small and the quality reduced.

Also check out Randy Chase's gear at www.chasecam.com Several cameras and many mounting options. Some great videos from a kart, done with the older system using a VCR. He now has solid state recorders that are small and not vibration sensitive. And he's a fellow autocrosser. _________________ Rick Brown

I have the aiptek and a sony lipstick camera. I velcroed the camera to the side of the helmet, (will be trying the top next)
Since its the off season up here in cold Maine, I went to the indoor karting place to check it out. This movie is in the middle resolution output of my software with a pretty big screen size. I cut about 9 minutes to 3 1/2 removing my driving around to catch everyone. I left a lap late, was too busy playing with the camera setup and forgot to latch my seatbelt.
6 karts on course at the time... I've been playing around a bit

Note: Cut and paste this second one, you need the whole line...

I think that these work pretty well... |
