I recently saw a thread in another forum that brought to light some issues related to teching Stock Moto engine parts.
I just read the SKUSA site on S3 and it says over-and-over "OEM only", yet provides no specification to define what that is ? How the heck can you tech something without specs?????
I noted that on the Kart Web site there are techable specifications listed, however part of that specificity allows machining of parts? Not good???
Rotax has some very nice templates for the FR125 that are used to check the profile of the head and squish area and another one to check the port heights of the cylinder. Why can't someone just produce templates like those for the CR head and cylinder?
If the Honda tolerances are as close as everyone says they are, it appears that would be a quick, easy solution to those issues?
It appears those templates should be easy and cheap to produce. Why hasn't it been done? Who can do it? _________________ Bill Wright
