The Valu-Inn on US-24 has a racer rate if you ask for it. George has the number but I will try to get it and post it today. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the track from the motel.

Yup! One of the best sushi bars in the state. A couple blocks south of woodmen road - the exit you take to get to the track.

Not far from there is a great drive-in that serves up these real greasy, lay-you-up-in-the-hospital-for-two-weeks kind of hamburgers! Heaven!

You should also be able to find a bar or two that serves up Rocky Mountain Oysters. After a hard day racing what would be better than a plate of fried n##s and a cold Coors?

I heard yesterday that the pavers may be back before this year is over to increase some pit areas, improve the track entrance and add a pre-grid. Any truth that you wish to share with us George?

Jon,
The Value Inn is right on the very eastern edge of Colo.Spgs.at Peterson Rd. and highway 24.........about 15 minutes from the track. Their phone number is 800.596.5588..just mention that you are racing at CRE and request the racers rate.Every little bit helps.....
and we'll keep the light on!
Hope to see you the 29th !!!!!!!
