My clutch lever works the opposite of most handles, I think, and I'm having trouble getting it to return properly. When you pull my clutch handle it holds the wire stationary and pushes the clutch cable housing away from the steering wheel. Currently, the clutch, when released, will not consistantly return all the way. Any suggestions for fixing this?

| Start by taking out the cable. Inspect it. oil it. Make sure it moves freely inside the housing. Next step is to engage the clutch on the motor without the cable, make sure it works, you will have to use something for leverage. Next thing is the handle assembly... Once you figure out what is sticking take action, if the cable is old it is most likely the cable, could be the hadle also.... |
