Bob,
Do you know what the timing curves are for these 5 models of OEM boxes? If so, could you let us know?

I have the curves. I'll have to get them from the device which we have to read the boxes. Send me your email address and I'll send you the curves.

I'll send the years needing replacement stator and rotors as well.

Any projections on cost? As I recall from the SPI unit the software and cable was priced at roughly twice the cost of the PI itself. Brings the cost to have a complete Programmable unit up to the $1200 neighborhood right?

When I bought my Vortex programmer it was 1200 dollars for that one little disc. So those prices are in line with currently available products.

Plus, while the Vortex software provides the curves for all sorts of years of different model bikes. However, there has been some question to how accurate they are. Many times when the stock ignition was tested back to back with a programmed box with the stock curve for that year, results were different. Why? I have an idea but not sure.

Bottom line, there are many other factors involved in producing a good ignition box, besides just the curve.

I think the light bulb is on and getting brighter!! Over the last 6 months or so, there has been a lot of talk about PI's and the legality for next year. Besides that, I think people are finally starting to see what the final result from optimizing the ignition is. No longer do you have to compromise the ignition timing due to the non-adjustable factory boxes. We have been working with Speed's CR80 unit, in a word,
