Try my new PI out this weekend and it would not draw a map. I only had one time out since I had motor trouble but I believe I have it set up right. I have it under my nassau panel like the say. I have the orientation normal. Any thoughts?
Thanks, Mark |

| Have you brought up either of the graphs first? Next you need to advance the laps to a good complete lap. Then go to map-new. If it says that the computed lenghth is different select yes. This is assuming that you have a Micron. |

Addinitionaly, while I haven't used the PI, you need to make sure the lateral accelerometer is 'level'. Should be something done in the morning calibration. |

Mark,
Track maps are drawn from two channels, Lateral Acceleration (ACCEL) and Wheelspeed (SPEED). Do graphs of each and see if there is good data for each. If there is it should draw a map. If you have no wheelspeed then check connections and the sensor using Watch Channels or if it is wrong check your tire diameter setting. If you have no lateral acceleration trace then zero the logger using Setup/Talk To Logger/Zero Accelerometer. Zeroing the accelerometer should be part of your morning setup routine at every event. If you do this and still have no ACCEL trace then it probably is a bad logger.
Are you getting lap times? You do have your beacon transmitter out, charged, turned on, and on the correct side of the track right? |

Yes I am getting lap times. I did not zero the accelerometer, I also found that I mounted my logger the wrong direction so I changed orientation. I hope this works. I do have a beacon and it is given me lap times.
I hope the changes will make it work.
It was giving me split times? There was a map there but nothing like the actual track layout. It was not a mirror image either. that is what was confusing.
I will give it another shot this coming weekend.
Thanks, Mark |
