Invite the Canadians to California and .... It rains! It's even raining up here in Northern CA this weekend. Rob Howden needs to hire people to go to take pictures for him that are locals.
Rob,
There is no truth to the rumor that there will be a bunch of great karters in Las Vegas next weekend. There will be a great Lake Trout fishing festival in Canada that weekend so you better scurry back. |

Weather today is perfect. Clear skies, light breeze and warm! Qualifying results are posted, and the Prefinals getting underway right now. We'll have Prefinal results as soon as all of them are complete.

Howden and I are back at the hotel and we will have results and the story from today in just a bit. It was an awesome day in every way. Simply put, in our opinions, today's ICC race was the best shifter race ever.TB

Tim,
I'd definitely agree that race was amazing. Bowles and Speed passing each other the whole race, AWESOME. _________________ ART Grand Prix America Team Manager

| good to know the weather cleared. How did the drafting on the straight effect the top classes if at all? In the R7 race so much of what happened related to drafting in the junior classes. |

Just got word from the SKI team as Qualifying ended. ICC qualifying was exciting. As the damp track began to dry out, group B was at least 4 seconds faster. Bowles is on top with Speed back in sixth. Prefinals are underway. _________________ David Cole

Simply the best racing i've ever seen. Period.
I hate to brag, but, watching John Zartarian in today's *sunday* Pre-final was one of the most awe-inspiring things i have ever wittnessed. Started 22nd I believe and finished 2nd right behind Bowles. Passing over 2 guys going into the cork-screw numorous times is sub-human. From now on its called the "Z" turn.
On behalf of the Kart Racing Tech. team, I am proud to say, a job well done. _________________ United States Coast Guard.

I thought the race between Jason Bowles, Alex Speed and Darren Elliot was about as exciting as it gets. On Saturday that was. _________________ Sex is like pizza. When it's good it's great and when it's bad, it's still pretty good. |

Did anyone else notice that the top 10 in Sunday's ICC race were all on different brands of chassis???? (Top Kart had 3 in the top 12)
That's the answer for the question that seems to come up here every few weeks.."WHAT CHASSIS IS BEST"
It's NOT the chassis......It's the driver and the tuner! _________________ Straightaways are for fast karts, corners are for fast drivers.... |

That would be super-human. John's a great kid and his dad's a great guy too. |
