How can you mix sp and s1 into one class, lets face it some s1 drivers are good enough to run with the sp but not at the last race of the series! One mistake by any s1 driver and the SP gets screwed. If Jim and Hollis think a little they will come to there senses and run the event like Rodney did and have a sprat qualifying and race for the stars, I for 1 believe that skusa events have a big enough hole in there schedule to do this without running out of time.

Can anyone help clarify the rules for 80cc Jr. classes running at the World Finals? What is required for them to run it? The last SKUSA news release was unclear to me....do the jr's have to run some/all of the Promoto Tour races and the regionals or can they just run 3 regionals and no Promoto races to go?

For all support classes(S1, K1, 80jr) the rules are the same. You have to be in the top 32 in your zone. That means that you have to run at least 1 PMT and earn enough points to get in the top 32. In addition, you must attend and score points in at least 3 regional events. Two of which must be in your home region.

The only exceptions are those racers whos home region doesn't hold races, and certain teams that must attend all 4 of the PMT events. However, the two additional PMT events only count as two of the 3 required events so you still have to do one more regional.

So, to answer your question, yes you must run the PMT to go.
