| Steve....if you scroll down the list of forums, you'll see one specifically for 250 superkarts. Might get more responses there. What chassis are you putting it on? I see you are in Ga. Might try Marc Croslyn or try Atlanta superkarts, if they are still around. |

| Thanx all! I talked to Neil and he's looking into it. The chassis I was thinking of putting it on is a TopKart EVO 125 chassis 32/32mm. Hopefully Neil will be able to hook me up. Appreciate all your responses, and hopefully see you at the track! |

| good luck finding someone that will fabricate you a mount. I built a 250 superkart out of a birel r32 and you will need to custom make one to fit that chasis like i did also you will need to add bout 3 inchs to the frame. It took a very long time to custom fabricate my motor mount. |

If you find someone to fabricate you a mount and they tell you that you must add 3 inches to your chassis....my advice is to turn around, walk away, and find someone else.
If Neil at PSR will still do motor mounts for karts he is the guy to use. You DO NOT have to cut your frame. _________________ KK

| your right you don't have to cut your frame for the motor mount but the sprint karts are not as long as the superkart chasis so by adding length you will have better handling and the sprint chassis is not long enough according to the world superkart rules. most sprint chassis are about 41 inches long and minium for super kart rules is 42 and i made mine 43 which makes it still legal as a sprint kart |

Neil made me the slickest articulating mount you've ever seen. I takes 20 seconds to adjust my chain and.....no cuts to the frame. _________________ KK

Wow, KK....Sounds like a nice mount. Wish I could get one of those.... Neil still hasn't called me back. He either must be busy or fergot. Oh well.....any other suggestions? |

I NEVER MEANT YOU HAVE TO CUT THE FRAME FOR THE MOTOR MOUNT
your right you don't have to cut your frame for the motor mount but the sprint karts are not as long as the superkart chasis so by adding length you will have better handling and the sprint chassis is not long enough according to the world superkart rules. most sprint chassis are about 41 inches long and minium for super kart rules is 42 and i made mine 43 which makes it still legal as a sprint kart
THE SUPERKART BODY WORK WON"T EVEN BODYWORK WON'T EVEN FIT A REGULAR LENGTH SPRINT KART-
K.K. what kind of kart do you have? I think if you had a sprint kart you would have ran into the problems i did. |

Correct me if I'm wrong. WSK is dead, or at least a 1 race org. (Laguna)
The USSC is the 250 org. now.
In the USSC rules it state (no 125 sprint chassis allowed).
If your going to run WKA races, the Unlimited class is a (LAYDOWN) class except for IC/E style karts."i.e. Anderson/Zip/Swift/Stratos"
Before you build a 250 sprint kart i.e. Tony/Topkart/CRG/Birel Check you local rules to find a place to run it. _________________ 2-G.P. Karts / 2-GFK TM K9B |
