Who is going to the HPV Invitational races at Charlotte next weekend. I know that the IKF, WKA and KART Junior and Junior Sportsman, (rookie), guys were invited. Anybody going?

Paul:
Love to go to Charlotte and run the HPV invite. My son got an invite for the HPV Jr. class. That was through the IKF GN. IKF runs different rules for the Jr. class that make the class much more fun. If the rules were the same in WKA we would run that class and go to the Charlotte invite. But we will be going to the SKUSA Super Nationals not Charlotte.
Good luck in Charlotte, I know you guys will do well.

Brandon Adkins and Chris are going, but they will be running the Senior Pro. Should be fun, Charlotte is probably the best track in the country.
We wanted to go to the SuperNationals, but could find a ride. The Shifter Supernationals is fantastic.
See you in five days.

Kaitlin got an invite for the Jr. class and we're going to be there. I also know that Doug Boyer from the Jr. class is coming to run it. Other than that - I haven't heard anything from anyone else.
Are you going? |

My son Austin Embry was invited to go run in the Briggs junior class but I don't understand why. He ran KART Nationals this year in the Briggs class and only got a 5th place finish....BUT...he WON the Junior Sportman 2 cycle class but did not get invited to Charlotte to run that class? Strange. We really don't run the Briggs class anymore and not interested in doing that but might have been interested in the 2 cycle class.

Dave:
It is my understanding that these classes are open to anyone. The original plan was to have it as an invitational, but I believe it is now open to all.
You can email Tony Barton via the WKA web site for confirmation.
Come and join us, it will be alot of fun |
