Jeff thanks for the idea on the EZ UP weights, I think I'm going to do that one.
I called one of my local Tire dealers today, they said they have a company come in and pick up the tires every couple weeks and that I could throw them in no problem. Was happy to hear that. |

A friend of mine used a couple tires to hold the sprockets for his Yamaha. Cut a pie-wedge out of the tire so he could get at them. That used up two tires total for him.
There's a crew out here - I think the World Kart guys from Gr. Junction - use old tires filled w/ sackrete and used to hold down their ez-up.
I also know this guy - had lunch with him today - known only by his chatroom alais, K@rtR24, who's filling them with lead shot and concrete while mumbling something about "getting back at that so-and-so at SKUSA" with his "Kartapult" - a rather devious device that looks like some deranged cross between a KartLift and a Trebuchet.
Some sleep would be nice.

Just head out after mid night and find an industrial area. Go out back, find an open dumpster and chuck 'em in. You wouldn't believe what I find in my dumpster every Monday morning.
One time I chucked a bunch of them out in my dumpster. Later I was out back and there were two guys dumpster diving in my dumpster. They were pulling out those kart tires and they were acting like they had just hit pay dirt. Go figure.

| I think they would make a cool race track for the R/C cars. |

Yeah, but you'd get awful dizzy watching them go round and round inside that little bitty tire! What kind of lap times are we talking? |

You know, with the ongoing "Street-squeegee"
craze, those fools really seem to like smaller tires that they "sort of" make fit on wider rims (usually spoked), that stick outside the fenders a few inches. Maybe this would be a good market! All humour here, so don't get the panties ruffled! |

Trying to imagine how that would work or look Larry.
Instead of lowering the body I guess you would have to raise the body, kind of different. I don't think they are going to buy my used tires from me though.
Interesting thought no doubt. |

Ship them to Afghanistan or Iraq (Addressed to Saddam) without a return address. Keeps airlines employed and when the nukes start falling over there "poof" they will be gone!
Also the poor arabs can use them to hold thier towels on thier heads instead of them fan belts! |

My youngest has found another use for them. He takes them to school and auctions them off to the other kids. He got $10 for the last one. It was a used up rear tire that he won a race on. He signs them and sells them.
