Its hard to believe, but there are almost 1000 registered members on this forum. It's only been three months since Pete decided to call it quits on "THE Karting web site." At the time, many of us felt like we had lost a friend and were concerned that nothing could come close to what Pete, Sonny and the others had created and nurtured over the years. Pete said at the time that someone would come along and pick up where he left off. I couldn't imagine that in this short of a time we have something that rivals (almost) what Pete spent years to create. I guess if you have a good template from which to work, it's a little easier. Anyway, I'll stop rambling now, I just wanted to make an observation. Thanks to all who make this web site and this sport what it is.
PS: This is my 20th post, can I become a "Real" member now, Charlie will you remove my "X" for me.

Robert,

I feel we have a good foundation here; now I'm looking forward to working out some of the glitches and developing a much more concise set of guidelines.

But, I agree, thanks to all the folks who are participating on these forums, and providing a good place to learn and debate about this sport of ours.
