Any info on how the National Cup race went down at Redding this weekend? I heard that Garret Petersen on the ALPHA/BM had Pole. Any more news?

Hmmm, don't both the Perterson brothers run Invader? Jes Peterson won the main with a large margin. He was checked out and gone.

Steve Slacks won the Masters.

Wrong Peterson. Garrett Peterson is sponsored by ALPHA Karts USA/France and BM IAME Italia. He had pole by 3/10 seconds in National Cup, testing the new ALPHA "Galaxy" that they have just recently gooten in from Europe. Peterson called us and told us that this chassis/engine combo was absolutely incredible. Just wondering how the main went.

Well, the Alpha Galaxy seemed to be just too far out to be "incredible". Invader with Jes Peterson won. Don't know who finished second, but they were a good 20 kart lengths behind Invader.

Garret's carb lost the low-end screw early in the main. Your comments regarding the ALPHA seem to be a bit personal Pat. Where were you watching the race from? We have talked with several people today who expressed their good impressions of the the "Galaxy" chassis at Redding. Peterson ended up finishing 4th, driving with one hand while holding a right finger over the screw hole on the carb. Doesn't seem too far out to me.

Guys,

ALL the Chassis work well at Redding!!!!--Jess won by a margin of 2.25 seconds (about 1-2 turns at Redding) in front of Ricky Luther. Garrett qualified on pole .161 sec. faster than Whitson who took a wild ride at the end of the straight after his brakes failed.

I was going to run my gizmo whatchmacall it but it was way too advanced for the karting community too. It had steel tubes with bends and stuff.

Hold on guys, I am not in any way, shape or form puting down the Alpha product. Absolutely nothing personal.

I was there at the start/finish line and watched from the start to the checkerd flag.

You say all chassis' worked well at Redding. Not mine ! I tried just about everything in my book and I was a mid-packer all day. Well untill the final when I ended up LAST.

What was that Alpha model?
