| Is anyone running the italsistem, either analog or digital ignition, in TAG? I'd be interested in any feedback. |

| Rafael Navarro is importing Swiss Hutless chassis and Italsistem motors in the Northern California (specifically Sears Point/Napa valley) area. It's my understanding the motor is still being developed a bit, but his website is www.kartport.com. |

| I should receive my ML47HD next week. The new clutches, wiring, and battery boxes, and revised flywheels have arrived and are being shipped. Testing results show that these updates have cured the original design problems and the engine is ready to go |

Ok, I have held my breath on this one long enough. For those of you told “next week” you will be getting your updated stuff, be careful!!!!! We bought one engine in December and were waiting for all the updated stuff till we bought our 2nd engine. Well from December to March we kept getting the “next week” story.. Finally in March, just a week prior to our first race. We took the one Italsistem back and got two of a different brand. A week prior, to us taking the engine back the main importer e-mailed me personally and said “next week”. It was really quit the pain, waiting for parts and keep getting the same story. All my dealer kept getting from the importer was the “next week” story and “it is being tested”. We then had to go to our first race, without any testing or track time… That is all I have to say on this, just be careful and don’t get burned like we did waiting for parts. If they would have been honest from the start and told us 4 or 5 months, well that is a different story. But being told next week thing and nothing, did not leave a good impression with me. They look like good engines and the machine work is nice, hopefully they come through for you…

I drive for the importer here and I KNOW for a fact that he is in contact with Achille on an almost daily basis. I was called today and told that the freight truck was there today and things were shipped out. Also, I know for a fact that there will be 3 more orders in the next few weeks that are going to be coming in from Italy. ALso, WHO do you think the main importer is????? I really would love to know

David You were right. NO Motor has arrived and wont be until Friday maybe. First race is this Sunday. I should have listened to you. I am looking in to a Motori Seven or Rok I will know what to do after 6 pm tonight. I will let people know who this guy is later if things don't go right. All he has to do is tell it straight and not bull $hit us with false info. |

Jeff: Out of curosity, why have you ruled out the Loepard or Sonic? Aren't they more readilly available?
p.s. I have no ax to grind or prefrence for any particular, just curosity because I'm in the process of looking at motors myself.
Thanks, Rick |

Jeff,
I too weigh in at 190 and I lost 24 pounds. I currently have a leopard but was interested in the ML47 because of my weight. This does not seem to bode well for us. _________________ KGB/motori/#77 |

Just curious but how do you end up concluding that you need to be 190lb to make weight with an Italsistem? My ML47H/KRT tracker weighs 165lbs with water but no fuel. Add 7lbs for safety gear fuel and you are still at only 172lbs. That leaves 203lb for the driver (in their birthday suit) and some fuel. As it stands now you are still going to be adding ~10lb of lead.
