Chad, try this link for the motor you seek.
http://www.italsistem.com/italiano/XR-8.htm

If you are interested in one, there is one in Tacoma WA for sale. 4600 or there abouts. I don't know the conversion to HP but from what I understand it's a screamer. One reality is that it appears to be a maint. hog in comparison to the other traditional style TAG motors. Reading the maint manual at the shop indicated it was more on the ICC type maint cycle than that of the Rotax.

But it would be fun on the track.

I read somewhere today that the CIK was dictating single cylender 4/'s and once again that would probably kill the Bliland and this motor from being converted to ICC or any other replacement project. They also seemed to indicate that they would not offer up a CC increase from 125 for the 4/'s.

What are the impressions of CIK, do they have a realistic veiw of the karting world? I'd like everyone's oppinon. Seems to me they are poluting the water they drink.

Cheers
Erik

My undestanding is mid to high 50's in hp. In the inital testing this thing was bending axles, tearing frames, and shreading tires. After tuning the motor and proper set-up of chassis they say it's simply a rocket.
