Hello all,

Had the opportunity on Saturday to see the developments going on at this new facility.

It's going to be AWESOME!! All the prep work is done, and they are about 2/3 done with the paving, and should have the facility ready to ride/drive on soon.

If you like Talladega and Savanah, you're going to LOVE this place. 35 to 40 ft wide, MILES of run off, and a park like setting make this place a must do in '02.

We're working with the owners to try to secure a date for the '02 FL Winter Tour. Hopeful that we'll be able to make it happen.

It was great to see such a well designed track and facility. This place will be very popular with the enduros and shifter kart groups.
A group of us will be going to setup a display of karts at the big ribbon cutting grand opening the first Saturday in November. We will perform demonstration laps for the grand opening viewers and hopefully gain respect from the motorcycle guys. All southeast long track racers are asked to come to the ribbon cutting and grand opening.

I agree this place will be awesome.

Chuck, email me with the info about the opening date. I'll see if I can bring my kart too.

Hey Chuck the track was great and I was glad we finally got to meet. Let me know when the ribbon cutting will take place I will be more that glad to come out and do a few laps.
