Is anyone using Kiwi Tile for paddock flooring? I'm looking at using some for my paddock floor, instead of "astro" turf or heavy indoor/outdoor. (big thanx to the Rahal mechanic that told me what it was, and sent me to Motorsport Spares, that place rocks!) It's not too much more than other solutions, at under US$3 a sq ft. The tiles are easier to clean, look good can easily match your color scheme) and store easily. They also appear to be less susceptable to meldew and mold. Beside cost, the only downside I can see is if the pit/paddock stall isn't on level ground.
Any users or opinions?

| We're using it (have been for 3 yrs), from Motorsport Spares. Good stuff. We expect to see more of it at the kart races. |

Dave,
Kiwi Tile rocks, we use it for our trailer. If anyone's interested in Kiwi, contact me via email or phone and I can get you set up.

| I've never seen the kiwi tile, but this past weekend I used "wondermat". It is a bunch of 2sq. ft. pieces that fit together like a puzzle. It worked great, easy to clean, and sets up/ tears down in no time. |

We have been using Kiwi tile for 2 years. Besides being easy to clean it is very difficult to lose parts on it. It keeps the whole area cleaner and provides a more pro look. Once you get the knack of it, setup and teardown only takes about 5 minutes.
We have used it on all gravel, half dirt/half asphalt, concrete, dirt, grass and mud.
Glenn does know the best source. |
