I'm coming from CA - actually flying to Rock Island, leaving the safe confines of the U.S.S. Behemoth and my friends (as they cover that race) and driving to Elkart - for my first visit to Wisconsin and my first Midwest Sprint Series race.
Chuck Tate has been kind enough to welcome me there, yet I will probably be a little lost - both physically and in being wise to the drivers, teams, and other details that makes every series unique.
So, for those that are going, look for the thin guy wearing EKN and Sparco garb dragging a load of hot-off-the-presses Ekartingnews stickers courtesy The Flatout Group (please don't hesitate to take them off my hands).
Don't be disappointed at the size of my...camera, as I can coax some decent pictures out of it.
And, as any press person will tell you, the squeaky wheel gets the shot, the stickers, the quotes, maybe some other swag, etc.
See you there,
G. |

Well, welcome to the North Woods der hey! I am sure you will be impressed with the Road America facility as it's one of the best in the country! And next year, make sure to come back on Father's Day weekend for the Road America Super Nationals where the enduros run the BIG track!
btw, my dinky digital camera also cranks out some sweet shots! |
