Would tilting a radiator diminish the cooling capacity of it. If it were straight up, wouldn't more cooling air be able to flow through? _________________ Don't get stuck in someone else's discarded chewing gum with your thought process. |

Some good info, page 17 talks about angle and how it affects cooling.

| If the radiator is vertical there is a very small reduction in temp but the problem is that without a large lip/duct on the perimeter the air doesn't flow well through the radiator. The kart is an aero pig and turbulent flow around the kart doesn't end up going thru the radiator. I run at a track where ambient often exceeds 100 degrees and we tried vertical orientation and it produced a lower temp by less than 5 degrees. |
