I am a newbie to the sport and thinking about running this motor? Would love some honest feedback about this motor and CKR chassis....?? Thanks for any help....

If you're from the Northeast, particularly the NYC/NJ area, it's not a bad choice at all. Since the importer for both, Action Kart Supply, resides in that area. You'll have a place for technical support and spares if needed.

Elsewhere, the Debei isn't as well known as other KZ/ICC motors, like the TM and Maxter. But that's not to say it can't run on pace with the others.

The Debei is certainly one of the nicest looking motors of the bunch.

Also think about resale. The Debei won't be great in this area. I would go with a newer Maxter or TM. Tuning for these will also be the best

So, I dont want to sound like a broken record, but most important is TRACK SUPPORT. And I dont just mean parts. I mean knowledge of the products.

last year I had the oppurtunity to run a Debei on a 30mm CKR. The FASTEST kart I have ever driven. Keep in mind engine builder and tuner were at the track with me.But this thing was a good handling fast kart. Just for a reference, I have driven a Birel, Arrow, Crg, Intrepid, GP and an RK. They are all great if you know what to do with them.
