I can't speak to all of them, but those that I have used have been in the 10 to 11 degree ballpark, with most being either 10.25 or 10.5.
You are correct that the angle effects only camber. The higher degree value will allow you to get the same realized camber at the wheel with a greater negative camber at the kingpin. I've never done a back-to-back comparison, but I would think that the greater angle would create a front end which is more sensitive at initial turn-in, and would also get greater weight jacking through out the turn. Remember, though, too much of a good thing does really exist. |
