With the inception of uspks I was hoping that they would fill the void of us older racers who love to still run Yamaha but want to run against people close in age. Who is going to step up and provide a masters class for Yamaha on a national level? I say you offer the class (Uspks) and if you don't get the entries, drop the class. It would be nice to atleast have an option to run Yamaha masters on a national level. If a Yamaha masters class was offered on a national level I would bet that you can count on 10-15 entries from Indiana alone. Thoughts from the other Yamaha masters guys?

One more vote....gives me more rationalization to have my grandson run this series...shared travel expenses.

I could get on board with that. I'll run with the yung uns if that's what is offered but I would agree that there are probably enough racers over 30 or 35 ( whichever age requirement was decided) to justify it.

I am now too old to participate but I thought I would mention one thing that has always been a source of wonder too me.
When the master class was very first introduced in about the early 80's, it was for over 40.
How it has evolved into 35--then 30--then even younger if you are pug-gee enough, I do not know.
just sayin'

I am with Lynn.
Master should be for older guys and gals.I am thinking 50 45 at the least.
My son can run Master at the formula now. I never could figure how they came up with such a young age.
Lets change the age limit and we can get Lynn out of retirement.

How bout a KPV Masters for over 40 @385
Fast enough to carry 385 but not too fast to abuse old bones.
Runs forever too

Wait, didn't WKA run Yamaha Masters for many years and they were getting at MOST like 10 entries so they dropped the class?

Over 35 is a joke, 35 is the new 25. Should be over 50 and I know some over 50 guys that ain't slow just a little stove up after the race.
