Hi, guys!
I am trying to find a video that was posted here by one of you guys with a French accent directed to the us Americans
It was about a demonstration that included cleaning off, or removing rust off expansion pipes and axles the easy way
With some spray on product from the Dollar store ( 99 cents )
I was totally amused by it, as the guy sprayed it on and rinsed it of on the sink.
Not sure if it was Mike goebel, JT miles, or Jeff Geof?
But I think it was called "Tip # 5" ?
Anyhow this would really help me out, as I'm trying to put to use a good old kart to use, and the pipe is totally rusty.
Thanks in advance,
FastFreddy

I have no idea about a video but Muriatic Acid will remove rust.....usually available in most hardware stores. It is also a good tool to have to remove aluminum from your cylinder walls (dissolves aluminum) and to clean your concrete walks/driveway. Might want to use latex gloves and eye protection when washing it off and do it in a ventilated area (outside).
Oil your pipe down with WD40, transmission fluid or motor oil after dry. |

Thank you Dan!
Any idea how long I should let it soak for before I rinse off?
The pipe is not too bad, it's just a little more than surface rust.
Thank you, again, FastFreddy |

You can also use WD-40 and a Scotch-Brite pad... _________________ Ken Schilling
