While I'm certainly sympathetic to the plight of both Roberto and Mark P., the overwhelming majority of the feedback we got from individuals who plan to race the series is that a higher weight is necessary. That, along with the lower age for eligibility, and going to full power, should give us the fullest fields possible, and the best competition.
Frankly I'm excited that there is this much passion and fervor over a series that has yet to turn a wheel!
Now its up the Series to make sure it lives up to the high expectations that its customers have, and I'm confident that it will. _________________ High Quality American Made kart stands. Available direct to you or through one of our many dealers.

I routinely add 40-45 lbs. of lead to make 385. 10 more will just take some special grease to slide the extra pieces between the existing 8 or 9 chunks. _________________ Russell Karting

Come on, it's the holidays and I can think of way more fun ways to gain 10 pounds. |

On behalf of eveyone at the USPKS, I just wanted to wish everyone Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
We also wanted to let everyone know that there will be more information available on the USPKS after the new year. A bunch of exciting stuff is in the works for the Series that will be released as the details get worked out.
Safe travels and good luck racing to all those headed to Daytona (or anywhere else) this week... _________________ High Quality American Made kart stands. Available direct to you or through one of our many dealers.

| If you need to add 40+ pounds, perhaps you should look at using Tungsten. It has nearly double the specific denisity of Lead. You still may end up singing soprano in the Veinna Boys Choir after lifting your kart onto the stand, but hey, you'll have plenty of space to place the neccessary weight! If you don't have enough balls to lift one end of your kart, do you have enough balls to be racing? It's just a simple question? |

Not real easy to mould and poor for a weight with a melting point over 6000 degrees f. _________________ Bear #13

| Gold may be easier to mold than tungsten, it is also twice the weight of lead by volume, but anyone needing more than 1/2 an once will want to attach it with several bolts and may need an extra seat for the armed guard. I've had great luck for maximum lead attachment by molding it in a rectangular biscuit molding tray. You get a 4 lbs. rectangular weight that you can bolt together much closer together than round weights, smaller 1 - bolt weights also keep the seat more flexable. Also much more practicle than Tungsten or gold. |

Actually, I think the uspks.com website was just updated with the entry blank for Rounds 1&2 at Mooresville Motorplex. _________________ High Quality American Made kart stands. Available direct to you or through one of our many dealers.

Yeah, they had to make a couple corrections to it, but it will be reposted by Friday. Its amazing no matter how many eyes look something, it'll still get screwed up!
A couple people have questioned the entry fee, but I think its important to keep in mind the value that you'll be getting for the price. On a per lap basis, this will likely be the best value out there. Sounds like the heat races will be 10+ laps and the feature 20 laps or 20 miles! Now that's a race. _________________ High Quality American Made kart stands. Available direct to you or through one of our many dealers.

| Wtf! Just read the press release and am stunned. Thought this was an anti wka series? Now you are using a wka rule book and insurance. I swear I saw that joe Janowski an NKA were behind this series and a sponsor. Not sure what happened but pretty sure I wouldn't sponsor a series that is using a competitor. Thanks for not keeping a stand guys and continue the true form of what is killing karting. |
