Hello all,

I am new to karting but back from a 30year break. I have a 2008 Easykart with the 125 cc IAME air cooled engine. I am really confused on what octane and oil I should use..I am in this for fun . I would like to stay away from castor as I hear they create deposits. How about Sunoco 93 and Rotax XPS . I sure would appreciate your help. Hometown is Venice Floridaq

I'm not sure about the fuel for the Leopard, but I think most folks run leaded 110 or something along those lines. Also, your local track/club may have a spec fuel and oil; ask someone at the track or check their web site (if they have one).

However, I'd run far away from Rotax XPS oil ... they just release a new fully synthetic version that I have no experience with ... but, the synthetic blend (black bottle) is horrible. Go with Motul 800 2T or Motul Kart-specific blend and you'll be better off.

Motul 800 2T and 110 vp or sunoco is what we use on our leopard and it's just a watercooled version of that motor
