I agree!! Just by the events I have been to this year Afton, Grattan, Barber, and VIR things are really looking good for Road Racing, and now to top it off, DAYTONA!!!

Working on the Daytona and 2013 daily schedule.
Anyone have any suggestions for a Daytona only schedule. We could add a 7th race on Sunday.
Anyone have any changes you want made with the pairings for the remainder of the 2013 season. Any classes you want moved from Saturday to Sunday or visa versa.

Gene,
Any chance we can bring back the Oval only "speed runs" of the past???
My Pops has a certified Speedway document stating his 1 lap average speed. It was back in the 70's, a Margay C-open he borrowed and ran 115 or 118 mph average. It got him in the Daytona "100 mph club".
I remember it being very exciting as a kid, all the heavy hitters of the day lined up in the pit lane waiting there turn to crank it up!!!!!
I'd pay a fee to do that........ heck, I'd pay to SEE that!!!!!!!! (I bet Brian would too!!!)
