|
|
Hey all, Yup its me, AGAIN.... with anothe question!
I have been driving in my Sparco level 1 desert racing suit. It is getting more wear and tear than I would like.
While browsing and trying on suits I fell in love with the quality of the alpinestar suits. however have been wanting something different... Not that same ol' Astar suit everyone has, nor the standard K1 that has that blazing "K1" Logo all over it!
Soo the question is, I saw that K1 custom suits are only $345 +50 for designing. Thats not terribly expensive in my book.
Soo, are they quality? Do they at least compare to the quality and look of AlpineStar?
Thanks everyone. |

Not sure about the K1... However Darren with ONE Racegear does an excellent job... You should look into their suits. He really takes care of his customers.

Look into the One racegear suits as well. There are a few dealers for them that are also designers and can give you the best possible price for a great quality suit. _________________ Brian McHattie

+3 for ONE Racegear
I've got two suits from them and they're super light and comfortable. And you get the custom sizing/design along with it. _________________ T.J. Koyen

| I've had a K1 level 1 suit and a K1 evo level 2 suit. Now I have an Alpinestars kmx-5. The Alpinestars suit is definitely more comfortable and has held well to many many machine washes. You could buy their better kmx-1 for about what you are looking to spend. |

Hey guys, I have been really loking into the OneRacegear suits and they all look great.
My question is, do they fit as well and as clean as the alpinstars suits? I haven't seen tha alpinestars on someone in person. The Onracegear suits seem to fit slightly loose, is this so? I don't care much for loose fitting suits.
Cany anyone offer up any insight? |

First of all, thanks for all the support from the posters above.
To help answer Justin's question on fit.
Included with all suits, is the ability for custom sizing and the option for a tailored fit, regular fit or loose fit. Since they are Made right here in Indianapolis, Indiana we can also alter it to fit just like you want it at not extra charge. As for design, that's included as well, from our in-house designers or any one of the artists that post here regularly, like T.J. Koyen, Brian McHattie, Brett King and many others. _________________ Darren Swisher

As Darren mentioned, they come with custom fitting so they're tailored to your dimensions.
Here's a photo of me in mine. I go for the slim fit and it fits perfectly.

Your suit is awesome TJ!
I have decided to go with One, thanks for the help guys!
I am looking for a simple, yet noticable design. I dont want anything that screams pro (like TJ's), and not have the speed to back it up. Therefore I want something flashy, yet still held back. I try to stay away from fancy leg patterns as I tend to really dislike much going on down there (nascar killed that for me). Looking for Black Intrepid orange, White and medium gray.
I am sending an email to Darren right now. However if anyone wants to help with Ideas I would be way more than appreciated! |

Well Guys, this is my Idea so far. Based on the Redbull 2011 suits, adapted to match a black helmet, an intrepid kart.
Don't judge the image! lol My computer skills aren't great and this is the best I could do it Microsoft Paint! haha
The front is pretty straight forward. It would have orange "one" on the shoulders, and on the back it would have "martin" in orange radius lettering following the gap on the shoulder-line/back
