Okay guys I received the GFS from Alex and it started out to be a simple install until I got to the top can. My mod hinda has had the mounting boss machined off so I fabricated a mount and afrer sending a pic to Jason he seemed to think it would work.
With his guidance, i got it plumbed good and after removing the spark plug, i spun the tire and watched the fuel go from tank to can to carb and then a small amount back to tank. So far, so good!
I put the plug back in and strap on the tire and motor seems really hard to turn over. I have good spark just not starting. Could the cc be loaded with fuel? I mixed up fresh fuel after install of the g f s. I pulled the carb and the reeds seem to be working and I pulled the pipe and didn't see anythung abnormal as I rotated the piston!
This hard (almost like high compression) is the same thing I had after running it at the track the last time! I dont think its a bearing since it turns over normal without plug. Its really not that kind of stiffness!
Thanks

Steve nice pic!

I gotta say, Jason at Swedetech has been more help than any of you can imagine and without the clown act some of you posted!

I decided today to pull the head and cyl and glad I did! Seems after 30 min run time the new rs piston developed another stuck ring right where it meets the bridge between the exhaust ports. After looking further it appears the bridge coating is gone! This could be the culprit of two stuck rings!

Oh well the motor probably has who knows how many hours on it and probably just wore out, and besides, its time to build a stocker to race!
Yes it will be a Swedetech!
