I've experienced this stator cover doing 4 things for me;
1) Stops the wiring rubber from slipping out of the case and hanging ( with no cover)
2) Stops most of the crap going into the stator area (with no cover)
3) Clears the seat better than the std OEM cover at a cheaper price.
4) Easier to keep clean than the std OEM cover. _________________ www.samzavaglia.com |

Ran today at OGP using the Swedetech top end and GFS that I bought used from Alex and all I can say is, thanks Alex!
What a difference! Im not the fastest or even competitive but I dropped nearly 3 seconds from my last outing which was high 34's to low 32's today.
No more strap starting as it starts very easy by hand! No bogging in corners and faster down the straights!
New pwm carb straight out of box with no jet or needle changes today! Weather was clear and high 70's with low humidity!
Very very pleased! |

If his original fuel system wasnt working properly, a 3 second gain isnt surprising.
It amazes me the people that rank on this system, not a single one has tried it. Every one Ive talked to thats used it swears by it. |

Steve what EXACTLY is it that you run?
Oh yea, that square pump!
Dont be a Hater if you never tried the GFS.
I wasn't bragging or even commenting on me winning a race. I was merely giving an update on the changes I've made from my last outing to yesterday's. Is that wrong or is this not the proper place to do that?
Gee, what the hells wrong with some of you guys anyway? Is it jealously, afraid of spending a few bucks, or just plain stuck in that "nothings better if I dont have it" mode? |

Rob,
I sprint race in the S4 class with SKUSA and I've used the Shark Shifter stator cover for over three years and have had absolutely no issues with it whatsoever with it trapping excessive heat. As with Sam Zavaglia I've had the same positive experiences. The biggest benefit that I've experienced is #2, especially if you have an "off track" experience where it helps keep out anything from the stator area especially something getting in between the stator and the magnet. In addition, it also gives me some mental comfort about my drivers suit on my right thigh area somehow getting caught in the stator.

| Not a hater, just letting karters know what will fix the problem with fuel overflow. The GFS system will do that. I just think if it can be done with far less $$$$, then what is wrong with that. Its nice to here you are on the track and having fun, that is what I try to do, get people back on the track. |

Funny how you are first with your smart ass remarks then when REAL karters chime in, you appear two days later with your tail tucked between your legs and comment like you were trying to help get karters back on track!
Its obvious you have no use for Swedetech items and you think they cost too much so to me, your still a hater!
And by the way, I may be relatively new here AND with a shifter but you might get used to the fact that I'm not going anywhere and I damn sure dont need YOUR help! |

C'mon Ace. Steve is not a hater. I don't know him that well, but I have seen him help many, many karters with tuning chassis and motor. He's a good guy and only trying to suggest an alternative route for the budget minded racer.
I'm glad your GFS is working and you no longer have to deal with fuel supply issues. That's a huge step forward. However, in Steve's defense, there are many ways to skin a cat and his method has been proven to work. _________________ Randy
