Well maybe not a superkart but 5.95 at 250 miles per hour in a 1/4 mile is pretty dam fast, no?

Saw this run at the old Motor City Dragway. The stink of the exhaust emptied out the grandstand. Also got to see E.J. Potter(aka the Michigan Madman) run a slot car go kart at the same track. He had fitted it with 4 electic motors and would drag a cable down the center of the dragstrip, put the kart over it so the brushes hanging down touched the cable. The other end of the cable was attached to a generator on the back of a flat bed truck, hooked up to an old Allison 12 cylinder airplane motor. He wore rubber boots and gloves. It just had an off and on switch. When the lights came down he flipped the switch and took off. Top speed was around 135MPH if I remember correctly. Man I miss those old days of run what you brung.

Chris. One thing you have to admit is that that is a well engineered piece of machinery.

Holy CRAP. I mean, I'm crazy, I really am, but that... thats a whole 'nother level.

I scuba, skydive (aspiring to Squirel suit!), race karts, road race motorcycles, dirtbike, snowboard, etc, but I wouldn't be caught dead going 250mph in a rocket/jet go-kart
