Hi Ian,
Well I can only say for sure who didn't win! But I think John Safford won the first heat with Dave Fultz in sacond . Anthony had some problem and Dean had a problem with the sound meter. Second heat, John I think had a sprag lock up and sent him off the track, Dean Won and Jim White in third, don't know who got second and I'm going to stop guessing! Sorry Dean and Jim I got it wrong the first time. If I got it wrong again apologize! |

A Main Laguna to the best of my knowledge.
Stafford and Fultz front row. Benson and Williams had a strong start forming the front group. Williams shot to the front as Martin shot to the back.
Stafford with new found pace diced with Williams but lost out to a spin entering the cork screw.
Much attrition through the race thinned the field. Williams was DQ'd in the early laps for being too loud. (no comments Ted )
Martin made steady progress with some tough competion from White, Benson eventually caught Fultz who was running strong. A battle for first spread over the last couple of laps resulting in a Martin win.
Lap times were well down on Septembers 1:30's with Williams and Martin 1.34"s.
Good strong field of competition and incident free. Another great NCK day! _________________ DEAN MARTIN |

Thanks for update Dean.
Ted's now banned from EKN so you can't hear him, he is silenced well below the 91dB limit.

The Stock Honda's could have almost made a race of it with the fast 250's.

Thanks Dean
Congrats on the win. Sounds like you did it the hard way!! Well done to all competitors who took part.
Sounds like Anthony needs to get a bigger silencer!
Best Regards

I think our ICC's were almost in the 34 range with minimal effort. No one to race with in open 125 anymore, stock 125 that's another story. _________________ www.Hegar4.com |
