If you're running a fuel pump and your float needle doesn't have a rubber tip, thats your problem.
Metal tip float needles are made for gravity fed systems with almost no fuel pressure.
I believe what you are looking for is a viton tipped needle.
I got mine from a carb store who said it was for a snow mobile. LOL
I run about 4.5-5 psi with no leaks.

| Thanks, I've got one on the way! Will I need a "T" in the line from the pump to the carb? Or can I run it just straight in to the carb? |

| I have mine ran from tank to filter, filter to arrow in on pump, arrow out on pump to carb, Pulse line to barb fitting in reed manifold. Thats it. I installed mine on the right side of seat, attached to seat strut with rubber mount. Tuck it back so your elbow will never hit it. Mount the pump with the pulse line at 6 o-clock. Very clean and simple. |
