I would like to invite all road racers to the historic Lake Afton Park for race 6 of the 2012 KART/MARRS event September 8/9.
Entry & event forms are on the KART web site (www.kart.org).
FYI,
They have paved (sealed) the back straight. This was done due to the traffic from the work being done during the construction of the new bridge leading to the other side of the lake from turn 2. Looks good and smooth.
C U all soon.

Looking forward to it!
How are the transitions from the old to the new? I hope nothing like Flat Iron. _________________ KART/MARRS

Juan,
It's the same as it was.....just more blacker. I think they just sealed in the dust....which is still a big plus IMO. The dust last time was horrendous even after Kelly spent hours sweeping. |

Rain.....Wichita.....BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
If it does it will evaporate the second it hits the road.....besides, they only sealed that really technical part of the course.
Seriously tho.....I sure wish I could use the rain tires I bought 4+ years ago.....what a waste of money that was. I should sell em off to someone on the west coast. |

Don't feel bad, Dave. That's the same two that were "loaded" for Garnett and then didn't make the trip! _________________ Keep on kartin' llb.

Kelly,
Since you're ahead of schedule with your karts you are welcome to come out to my house and help me. I haven't even thought about starting yet!
I might even provide the Bud light. |

2 more finished and ready to load!!! Working on another one for Dr. Bob.
Linda,
They have to show up at Afton. Just a good thing they run race 2 on Saturday or they wouldn't be there either. Saturday nite HAYWIRED plays a fundraiser benefit for the Sedgwick county zoo starting at 7 and they have to be gone from Afton by 3. Not having Brad there for our Saturday nite entertainment, sucks!! Should we all load up and go?? Only $125.00 per ticket!! NOT....
John,
Love to BUT, chasing HAYWIRED around the state on the weekends is killing my FREE time.
