Jetting Max Kart Android App

Hey All, been looking into the Jetting Max Kart app on the android market. I bought it and it seems Very useful, at least to get you in the ball park range.

However on the "results" screen it shows in one of the boxes a "fine tuning" percentage. After reading the Help menu it says this value is to help fine tune the Jetting to your motor... Well How does this work, and how do you know where to se that fine tuning bar? The difference seems so miniscule that its hard to determine.

Up until this point I have been looking at the charts, which seem alittle more simple.

is anyone using this app? What do you all think?

I use the chart and my old school weather station.

RAD, Barometer, Temp and Humidity.

Since I have no false ideas of me ever driving at the pointy end of grid I just don't want to blow it up.

I've used it. Its a good basic jetting app. Keep in mind that jetting is scientific - its math. Its plugging in certain parameters and crunching numbers. Now the reason for the adjustment slider is to account for normal tolerences that make each carb/engine slightly different. That essentially calibrates the app for your specific carb/engine.

So in the begining, run the app, load the specified jet/plug/clip position, and start testing. Monitor plug and EGT. Try different things (change clip position, float height, jet up or down one size, etc) to see how YOUR carb/engine responds to the change and calibrate according to results. Once calibrated the app is set for that carb/engine combination.
