Who had the chance to race the RY-32 S4, and can comment if the "new" chassis lives up to the hype and expectation of a much improved chassis over the previous S1/2/3 models.

I have driven all of them... in a real testing situation. We take the effort to spend time with each new chassis on various tires (bridgestone and mojo - we rarely throw MG's at it because MG's can make just about anything feel good Smile ) in various configurations and the S4 model has improvements, including the floating, self-adjusting hydraulic brake system. It is a unique system that has both a floating vented cast-iron rotor, as well as 4 individual floating pads set in a 4-piston caliper.

I can't comment much on the "hype" - but the results have proven to be strong with the same RY30-S4 chassis winning in Rotax, FWT and WKA Senior and Junior yamaha/hpv configurations.

Personally, I feel the S4 is every bit as solid as the S4 with slight improvements in braking "feel" due to the new brake design as well as a lighter steering and slightly larger window of tuning.

We have already tested the S5 as well - or at least a test model.
