Something I have seen with new drivers and tuners especially in supercan is that they have the kart to tight because it feels comfortable to new drivers. As was mentioned the karts probably worn out but start by trying to free the kart up next time out and seeing what happens. Also on a test day as a new mechanic and driver its a good idea to just change stuff and see what happens and get a response on how it changed the feel of the kart.
