Has it been worked out the we can camp with the Motorhome at the track? If so, will the campers have to be parked away from the pit area or can we back in and leave it parked for the weekend? _________________ SLK PowerLab

Does anyone know why tent camping in't allowed if motorhome is? Is it just because showers will not be available? Or is there some other reason.
I would love to camp at the track in a tent but if that is not possible what are good nearby camp grounds? When I looked on google and a lot of the nearby (right next to the track) camp grounds seemed to be part of the track. Any info would be great. _________________ Jeremy Baldi

It's probably a facility rule that they have no tents. Security reasons as well maybe. Try this, did a quick google search: https://www.juniperhills.com/index.html _________________ David Cole

Hey Jeremy (sorry, I'm not doing the upper/lower case thing)
We have talked about camping at length, and unless I've missed a change in the plan, tent camp is allowed but the surface is paved. Hammering stakes into the pavement is NOT ALLOWED. If you know of something that says tent camping is not allowed please let me know.
There are many good local campgrounds surrounding the track. I'm not sure if they're all still open that late in the season. I believe Juniper Hills is still going to open. Possibly Brookfest or Goulds also.

I guess I hadn't heard tent camping wasn't allowed I just saw stuff saying camping was available nearby so assumed it wasn't allowed at the track.
Grass is nicer but have tent camped on payment before and would rather do that than have to pack up stuff to go to a different campsite. Looking forward to the event. _________________ Jeremy Baldi

Jeremy and all, There is tent camping right at the track. Just got that part approved. It will be right by the motor coach area. A camping personnel will be there Friday the 28th to instruct you where you can put up your tent! Hope that helps. If you have any more questions about camping please let me know! _________________
