Anyone have some of the steel pieces that the hourglass rubber piece goes into? I am looking for about 6, with the strap horizontal to the rubber.
Would like to have for next weekend in the shop.
Thanks |

Roger:
If you have some steel tubing, a large ball bearing, and a press, you can make them fairly easily. Keeping the ball and tubing alignment in sway without a jig is a bit tricky, but tubing is relatively cheap and practice will provide good results. You can then weld them to whatever bracket type you desire.
PM me if you want some sizes/lengths and I should be able to get that info to you tomorrow sometime.
Regards,

Hi Don, thanks, sounds like a good idea - when I get to the final setup. However, would still like to just get a couple of the off the shelf Anderson metal parts. Don't need the rubber inserts - have a bag of those.
So - anyone out there with a couple of seat mounts? |
