|
|
I want to purchase a Kart from NJ and I live in MI. Both the seller and I have spoken. Our problem is he wont sell until I can figure out away to get it shipped. He has spoken to folks in his area and has came up empty.. Can anyone give me an idea of what to do. I found one trucker that told me $600.00.. I weant the Kart shipped but I dont want to cover his bar tab either. |

I have not used it but a close friend had his kart shipped from MI to GA. Basically you make a posting on what you have to ship and people bid on it. You pick which bid you like, lowest or how it will be shipped (enclosed, etc).
He had good success with it. I've heard others have used it as well. |

When I bought my kart roller from MRP they used Fedex Freight. The price was way less than what you were quoted so I'd give it a try? Also shipping to a commercial address will be much cheaper than having it shipped to your residential address. _________________ Adrian Baran

| FYI I think the price of my buddies was $250 for the kart and lots of spares. They ended up putting it in a work van so it was enclosed too. Can't beat that. |

I had a kart shipped from Florida to Illinois and it only cost $150 bucks. The seller used R&L Carriers. I have also heard of guys using Greyhound bus but I have never used them. _________________ Lucas Homan

| I shipped a kart from Georgia to Utah via Greyhound. I dismantled the kart, put the lengthy pieces (frame, bumpers, axle, pods) in one box and the smaller pieces in another box. Cost about $175. Took about a day and a half to arrive. |

I have always had good luck with ABF Freight. Easy to work with, fast and very reasonable pricing.
Although, I will have to keep Clark in mind for next time |
