Dan, thank you for correcting the information.

I have recieved an email from Doug Newhouse, and Sandy Mc Knee.

Doug will be in europe the week of this event. Work calls; got to do it.
Sandy put in for the time off. It is still not confirmed. Note. Mike Sho and Sandy would be travling together. We could have 3 less.

The reason I am posting this information is I want the guys to have a good idea of what the grid is looking like, so someone doesn't travel XXX hours to find no one to run against.

I am not being negative. Just give the info I am aware of.

18 so far. I am pretty sure there are more CR's around the KS area. Not sure of thier names. I can remember seeing them at USSK event 2 years ago at KS.

Mark Kupper CR250 is on the fence.

Guys we can hit 25. How about a little here? Not all the Superkarters follow Ekartingnews. It just takes a phone call. PM me any information you might have I will try to contact them.
Johnny

I was probably one of the CR's there....only one running semi-regularly in Kansas that I know of.....It has been a turd lately so I'd rather drive with TZ power. Wink I only wish the P1 handled as well as our Anderson/CR package.....no biggie....no prize money now is there.

Anyone know where Steve "Too Tall" Tillman ran off too? Thought he was from my neck of the woods.....haven't seen him since early/mid 2000's back when I was living in KC.

I called Too Tall. He still has 2 Superkarts. 1 TZ and 1 RS125. He is 2 hours fom KS. He said he will try to make the event. Has not worked on the karts for 3 years. Just has to go over a few things. Smile

He mention a buddy of his John, said he has a couple of SK as well. Could not remember the guys last name. He too was frfom the KS area. I asked Steve to come out even if he stuff was not ready and just say hi to the group. Perhaps when he see everyone it will fire him up to get back on the track.

I know there are more racers with SK's that just need a little fuel to get them back on the track. Keep thinking.

I recall the name Rayburn. If memory serves me,( he/They)? ran 256's on a ZiP chassis.

Thanks for for helping with racer names to contact.

Johnny

John Nelson was the other SK guy from Kansas that used to hang around with Steve Tillman.

Rick is in Yukon. Scott was in the same area probably 8 years ago....both are definitely out of racing for the time being.

I would like to THANK those Super kart racers, familes, friends, etc who attended the 2012 KART road race nationals at HPT. THANK YOU!!!!

You all put on a HELL of a show in both the pre-final & final!!!!!

I know some were dissapointed in the Super kart numbers BUT, numbers aren't everything. YOU ALL put on a super show & had FUN. This is all that counts!! It was a pleasure being your race official.

Hope to see you all back next October (will be warmer) Very Happy
